Overview
Normally your Loop frame will automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi by itself. If it's unable to do so after an extended period of time however, a notification will be displayed on the top right corner of its screen. If this alert is coming up repeatedly then take a look at our guide below for possible solutions.
Solution:
Unfortunately Wi-Fi is a little more complicated to troubleshoot because everyone's Wi-Fi router and home setup are different. Please try the list of suggestions below in order to see if they resolve your issue:
- Restart your router, wait 5 minutes then restart your Loop frame. It may sound simple but we've found some routers just get clogged up over time and this helps reset everything.
- Check to make sure your frame has the latest software updates. You'll need to first reconnect your frame to Wi-Fi beforehand, then go to the Settings Menu and selecting the option 'Software update'.
- If your frame is far away from the router, consider moving it closer temporarily to see if that resolves the issue
- If you're still having trouble please reach out to customer support in the app or by sending us a message at help@loopfamily.com. From here, we'll check the Loop from our end to see if we can find any issues.
